Extremely rare vintage find. 1960s era, made by hand in Mexico, metal and stone jewelry or trinket box. The cover features a gold tone Quetzalcoatl serpent wrought in gold metal, surrounded by inlaid natural blue and green stone — I believe blue sodalite or azurite & turquoise. Footed base. Inside is lined in dark brown wood. Inscribed “Mexico” at the base. If you can decipher the top word, please let me know!
